One family, three generations:
a tradition of experience in International Finance

Global Capital Trust was built on a long-standing tradition of finance expertise possessed by the Zoppi family, who worked as brokers on the Milan Stock Exchange for three generations. Costantino Zoppi founded Italy’s first brokerage company in Milan in 1934, which his son, Giovanni Zoppi, successfully ran, transforming the company into the largest private wealth management firm in Italy.

Marco Zoppi continues this accomplished tradition. In 1986, he embarked on his training within the family company. After a few years he was promoted to manager of the Milan Stock Exchange’s equities sector. After a transfer of family business at the start of the 1990s, he moved to Geneva to serve as Chief of Portfolio Management at Société des Banques Suisse. In 1997, he moved to London where in less than a year he attained the position of Chief Trader at SBC Warburg London. Later he became an independent advisor in Zurich for several European banks. With the aim of concentrating on top-tier customers and contacts he cultivated over the course of his distinguished international professional career, Marco Zoppi founded Global Capital Trust.
